On 3 March 2015 a new podcast section of the website was launched. These podcasts are the first of a recently commissioned series which will be added to regularly over the coming months.
It was with great excitement that the programme team launched a new section on the website to hold a brand new series of podcasts about the First World War. These podcasts are being written and produced by members of the programme's Academics Advisory Group and other First World War experts. As the series develops it will cover a very broad range of topics surrounding the First World War and its impact.
The first two podcasts to be launched were written by Mark Connelly, Professor of Modern British Military History at the University of Kent. These podcasts look at aspects of the war in 1915 and cover the Gallipoli campaign and the war on the Western Front.
