How to apply

Before applying for the Specialist Leader in First World War Education role, please ensure that you have read the role details and person specification. Links to these can be located on the previous page.

You should discuss your interest in this role with your line manager as there is a small time implication for undertaking tasks as part of the Specialist Leader programme.

This opportunity is open to teachers aspiring to be outstanding middle or senior leaders. Specialist Leaders in FWW Education will not only develop their leadership and management skills, but they will also develop leadership capacity in others in relation to the teaching and study of the First World War.

Participants will be engaged in the programme for between 12-18 months during which time they will be required to complete a series of tasks and/or be involved in an area of our programme which promotes innovation and excellence in the study of the First World War.
